Quick Installation, Hassle-Free Maintenance
Installing the Culligan GBFC filter is simple. With easy-to-replace cartridges and long-lasting components, you save time, effort, and money on maintenance.

Installing Filter
Make sure all filter housings are properly attached and securely locked in place as shown in the image below. When fitting the housings, ensure they are straight and not at an angle, as improper alignment can lead to leaks or damage to the o-rings.
Each filter head comes with a ¼” INLET and OUTLET port. Be sure that the water supply enters through the INLET port and exits through the OUTLET port. Installing these in reverse could prevent the filtration system from working correctly.
Once the installation is complete, flush the filter(s) for the recommended time before using the system.

How to remove and refit the filter to the filter head
Hold the filter sump firmly and twist it clockwise. As you do this, the filter head will automatically shut off the water supply. Keep turning the sump until you feel it reach the release point. At this stage, the sump will begin to detach from the filter head, allowing you to pull it out easily.

How to replace the cartridge from the sump
To change the cartridge, twist the sump cap and sump in opposite directions—turn the sump clockwise and the sump cap anti-clockwise. Once they’re separated, pull the sump away from the cap. Remove the used media cartridge from the sump cap and insert the new filter cartridge by following the same steps in reverse.
Note: All carbon cartridges can be swapped interchangeably. However, the RO membrane is specifically designed to fit only in an RO housing.
