Stages of Filtration
Stage 1
5-micron porous polypropylene filter (PP5) filter reduces sand, silt, rust, and other larger particles
Stage 2
Ecomix D37 filter that reduces scale deposits, chlorine, organic matter, & toxic metals.
Stage 3
10-micron activated carbon block filter (CTO 10) made from coconut shell reduces chlorine & chlorination by-products to improve the taste & smell of water.
This filter is not suitable for homes with high water hardness or if the source of water is a private well/lake. Under such circumstances, you need to install a water softener or specialized well treatment system based on your water test results.

Replacement Filters
The cartridges on Ecosoft Standard 3 Stage filter should be replaced every 6-12 months and can be bought online on our website here.
